Digital Literacy CourseThe course was developed because of the roll out of a new learning management system (LMS) in our school district. The 2018-2019 school year was the first year that all students engaged with the curriculum through the learning management system (LMS). Though teachers had access to curriculum resources on this topic stored within the LMS, there was a need for a structured course on internet safety designed for a blended learning environment, to serve as an exemplar for utilizing LMS features.
